Synthesis of new xanthene derivatives as pharmacologically active compounds

This talk will present the design and synthesis of new xanthene derivatives that have been tested for various biological activities such as antimicrobial, antitumor and anticoagulant activity after purification and confirmation of the structure using modern analytical techniques. The potential mechanisms of action of xanthene compounds were explained using in silico methods. The lecture will present further steps in the testing of xanthene derivatives as potential drugs.
